Loic J Tuckey - Bad Holiday

lyrics

I went strolling down to Rio by the sea.
When a man who threw some dirt towards my feet.
He said "if you need a guide I can aid you.
But only if you help me first of all."

I said "I don't need no chaperone today.
I've got to find out and go my own way."

He said "It won't be the last you hear of this.
I didn't doubt it so I left real quick.
I wore a face of thunder and clenched fists.
I left a shoe, smeared in shit.

So I took a seat, embellished by the sea.
I took off my shirt and tried to embrace the heat.
A slap to my neck and speckled skin kicked in.
Now I'm left alone it's the happiest I've ever been.

Then out came a Spaniard to bend my ear.
He said "buenos dias," looked down and "que desea."
I said "no, no, no, no! Estoy ocupado."
He said it's the last I'd hear from him.

So I took off my shoes and buried them in the sand.
I said "fuck you, Rio. I'm leaving your gorgeous land."
Don't speak to me. Don't follow me or come close.
Then I took a plane back to Sheffield.
